Sony has submitted a trademark filing for the name "PlayStation Arc," corroborating earlier reports suggesting the Arc label will be tied to the upcoming PS3 motion controller. The company recently acquired rights to the domain name PlayStationArc.com.
The device will offer a form-factor similar to a wand, with motion tracked and utilized for interaction with the game console. Rumors suggest the new controller will be packaged with every PS3 system.
