ASUS shows O!Play HD2 at CeBIT, short on specs

ASUS is quietly showing off the latest addition to its O!Play range of networked HD multimedia players with the O!Play HD2 at the CeBIT show in Germany. Specs are non-existent, though the photo reveals there is a USB 3.0 port on the front of the device. Alongside it is an eSATA connection and memory card slots.

Like the other versions of the O!Play, the HD2 should be able to connect to a user's home network, either with a wired LAN connection or over Wi-Fi. It should also be capable of playing back 1080p HD videos thanks to an HDMI output, with a composite video and digital audio outputs also present.

As per usual, ASUS has not revealed pricing nor ship dates for the O!Play HD2. [via SlashGear]
