Dummy phones arriving at retailers

Rogers is reportedly set to offer Samsung's Galaxy Spica smartphone, according to Mobilesyrup. Images have surfaced showing dummy phones that will fill retail displays. The device is expected to ship with Android 1.5 or 2.0, displayed on a 3.2-inch 480x320 touchscreen. A 3.2-megapixel camera, microSD slot, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 800MHz processor round out the known specs.

Pricing and release dates for the Galaxy Spica remain unknown, although the handset is expected to be released sometime in the next two to three weeks.
