Samsung's R80-series notebooks heading to Best Buy

Devices based on Intel's Core i3, i5 CPUs
Samsung on Friday announced that its R80-series notebooks are set to launch next week through Best Buy. The devices are based on Intel's Core i3 and i5 CPUs, with multimedia features such as Blu-ray drives, 16:9 aspect ratios and NVIDIA GeForce graphics components on several models.
The Core i3-based R480 offers a 14-inch LED-backlit display with 1366x768 resolution. The standard configuration ships with 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, and Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics. The 15.6-inch R580 steps up to a Core i5 CPU and GeForce 310M discrete components with 512MB of graphics memory.
The flagship R780 features a 17.3-inch 1600x900 display, 2.26 GHz Core i5 CPU and GeForce GT330M graphics with 1GB of dedicated memory. The notebook also offers 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive.
The R480 and R580 will be available beginning March 7th from Best Buy's retail stores and online portal for $730 and $830, respectively, while the R780 is offered as a BestBuy.com exclusive for $930.
