Moto i1 would bring MOTOBLUR to iDEN

Motorola's Opus One push-to-talk Android phone has been given a more definitive launch plan thanks to a leak late Friday. The phone is now set to be called the i1 when it ships and should carry the MOTOBLUR interface on top of the Google OS, which is still limited to Android 1.5. Engadget also now expects a 3-megapixel camera on top of the known iDEN and Wi-Fi.

The touchscreen handset is reportedly due for an unveiling within two weeks, which would roughly line up with the March 23rd start of the CTIA phone expo in Las Vegas. Motorola has regularly used CTIA to launch US-oriented phones and so could bring the i1 to Sprint shortly afterwards. [image via BGR]
