Aiptek's pico projector can record 720p videos

Aiptek's PocketCinema Z20 is a combination pico projector and digital camera. It has 2GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card to store still images or video recordings captured by its 5-megapixel camera. It can capture 720p videos but is unlikely to be able to reproduce them at the same resolution.

The LED/LCoS projector can throw up images up to 65 inches in size but other specs of the projector are unknown. A tripod and remote control for use in projector mode are included. There is an A/V output that can be plugged into VGA ports with an adapter, along with an HDMI output. The touch-sensitive buttons on the projector itself are LED backlit. A small LCD screen lets users frame their shots.

A release date in Europe is scheduled for the middle of April, with prices set at the equivalent of $476. There is no mention of the PocketCinema Z20 coming to North America. [via PicoProjector-Info]
