LG X300 dated for South America,

The ultra-thin LG X300 netbook from LG will be released in markets other than North America later in March, the electronics giant announced this weekend. First will be Asia, followed by the Middle East and South America. The flagship notebook has an 11.6-inch LCD screen, is 0.7 inches thick and weighs about 2.1lbs. It has a borderless touchpad and a reflective keyboard, and is rare among netbooks in foregoing a bezel around the screen.

Processing power comes from an above-average 2GHz Intel Atom, and users can opt for 2GB of RAM. The 128GB solid state drive is preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium. Two 2-cell batteries ship with the X300 for up to seven total hours of use. It otherwise carries a 1.3-megapixel camera and built-in 3G. The LG X300 will be available in white or light brown.

Pricing for the newly announced markets hasn't been announced but is expected to come soon.
