New Palm ad focus on webOS, not phones

Palm focuses on webOS UI for entire spot

Palm today rolled out a new ad (shown below) that it intends to air during the NCAA's March Madness games. Unlike virtually every other ad, the new spot focuses solely on webOS and shows a woman walking down the street taking advantage of her phone's multitasking to message, play music, find directions and make a call. It tells users that "life moves fast" and not to "miss a thing."

The TV promo is the first after a lull and is part of a rejuvenated marketing campaign meant to spike Palm's sub-par phone sales. Most of the efforts this year were, until today, focused on helping Verizon reps and real-world signs. Past TV ads have usually centered on the Pre or Pixi specifically and not software.
