Nexus One now at all four US carriers
Sprint on Wednesday confirmed that it would get its own version of the Nexus One. The device is the second confirmed CDMA version and now puts the HTC-built Android flagship on all four major US carriers following both the original T-Mobile and early Verizon launches as well as the just-announced AT&T version. Sprint's edition like the others will only sell through Google's site.
The device doesn't yet have a price or a ship date, but it's likely to cost the same $530 if unlocked. Sprint does say it will arrive "soon" and mentions that its $70 Simply Data plan could make the carrier's Nexus One the least expensive to use. Verizon's model is expected before the end of the spring.
All four Nexus Ones share a 3.7-inch AMOLED phone, 3G, GPS and Wi-Fi, but the emphasis has typically been on software. Google's device is the only one to come with Android 2.1 out of the box so far and uses a "pure" version that can be updated quickly.
