EOS 5D Mk II 2.0.4 solves audio capture flaw

Canon today quickly acted on the discovered audio bug in its latest EOS 5D Mark II firmware by rolling out a 2.0.4 update. After patching earlier in the week, the full-frame DSLR had encountered a bug that would cut off audio when manual recording levels were selected during video capture in the C1, C2 or C3 custom modes. This should now be solved, Canon said.

The 2.0.4 fix still includes all the previous feature upgrades, including 24p and NTSC speeds for the camera's 1080p video mode, support for aperture and shutter priority modes in video recording, and the option of a histogram when using manual exposure values for movies. The new features are already present in the 7D and T2i.
