MSI announces 15.6-inch business notebook
MSI on Friday announced the addition of its latest business notebook, the 15.6-inch P600. It runs on an unspecified Intel Core i5 processor and so should be relatively fast for the class. As a pro system, it gets a fingerprint reader for security; its most notable feature its its eight-cell battery, which provides up to eight hours but keeps the PC relatively light at 5.3 pounds.
The touchpad has multi-input support, and a 1.3-megapixel camera is built-in. Costs are kept down by using Intel's integrated graphics, a dual-layer DVD drive and a standard (though LED-backlit) 1366x768 screen. Keeping with most MSI announcements, the company hasn't yet said when the P600 will reach the market but should provide local release info in the future.
