Microsoft to show finished motion controller

Microsoft this afternoon confirmed that it will show the virtually complete version of Project Natal at pre-E3 events. The console maker plants to show it first at an all-ages event on June 13th at the Galen Center in Los Angeles and will follow it up with a keynote for the press the following day. The launch is likely to involve near-finished hardware and some of the first official games for the Xbox 360 motion controller.

While no details accompanied the teaser, Microsoft has already said it plans to ship Project Natal by the holidays. Rumors have also suggested it may cost below $80 and could even be bundled with special versions of the Xbox 360. The add-on depends solely on a combination of cameras and microphones and relies on the game system's processor to handle most of the calculations.
