HP documents list Envy 14 and 17, Pavilion dm4
A member of the NotebookReview forum has once again found evidence of three upcoming and unannounced notebooks from HP, including the previously leaked HP Envy 14 and 17, as well as the Pavilion dm4. The supporting evidence comes in the form of HP Support Assistant documentation and LightScribe System Software CVA documentation for the Pavilion dm4. No other information relating to the PCs has been revealed, though the Pavilion dm4 is expected to sport a 14-inch display.
It is expected that the Envy 17 will have a 1920x1080 resolution display, while the Envy 14 will use a 1600x900 screen, however. The currently available Envy 13 and Envy 15 use an Intel Core 2 Duo and a Core i7 chip, respectively, so it is speculated that at least the Envy 14 may use chips from Intel's Core i5 lineup.
The Pavilion dm4 is believed to feature a built-in optical drive, switchable graphics and either AMD or Intel CPUs, with an expected price range of between $650 and $850.
None of this information can yet be confirmed, and neither can release dates or pricing.
