iBuyPower brings Battalion Touch CZ-11 gaming PC
iBuyPower has added a new gaming PC to its range, the 15.6-inch Battalion Touch CZ-11. The 15-inch system is second of the company's multi-touch capable gaming notebooks, but the first to get the option of Intel's Core i7 CPU at the same time. Its display is a centerpiece in resolution as well at 1080p, even on the least expensive models.
Otherwise, there is DirectX 11 support thanks to an integrated 1GB ATI Radeon HD 5650 graphics chipset, 4GB of DDR3 RAM and a 500GB hard drive preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium. The Core i7 chip is Intel's base 1.6GHz model, but buyers can opt for a 1.73GHz Core i7. A dual-layer DVD writer is standard, with a Blu-ray player optional. There is also a fingerprint reader and 2-megapixel camera.
The Battalion Touch CZ-11 can be purchased now, priced at $1,299 for the stock 1.6GHz quad-core edition. More frugal gamers can scale it back to as little as $1,072 for a dual-core 2.4GHz Core i5 with 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive.
