MacBook Pro Clone with Atom shows up in China
An unknown Chinese company has made a knock-off MacBook Pro notebook that is powered by an Intel Atom processor. Besides sharing the unibody-style design, the lookalike includes a 14.1-inch screen with a 1366x768 resolution, a touchpad with 'hidden' buttons and the second-generation of NVIDIA's Ion graphics chipset working in conjunction with a 1.6GHz or 1.66GHz Atom. This combination allows users to watch 1080p videos on external monitors thanks to an HDMI output absent on the Apple-made original.
Other features that won't be found on a real MacBook Pro are the VGA output and a multi-format memory card reader. There is built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and users have the option of either a 160GB or 320GB hard disk, and 1GB or 2GB of RAM. Expansion revolves mostly around three USB ports.
There is no indication of pricing or a release date, and the clone isn't likely to ever be sold in North America. [via GadgetMix]

Pro?
Looks like a MacBook Pro, but with that processor will probably run slower than a MacBook Air.
