Device offers thin profile and 2.4lb weight

Fujitsu on Thursday introduced the MH330 netbook based on Intel's PineTrail platform. The device is geared for mobility, weighing in at 1.1kg and measuring 18.55mm thick at the front and 24.5mm at the back. The 1.66GHz Atom N450 processor is paired with a 250GB hard drive, while Bluetooth 2.1 and 802.11b/g/n also come standard.

The netbook integrates a 10.1-inch display with 1024x600 resolution, 400:1 contrast ratio and LED backlighting. Other features include a webcam, spill-resistant keyboard, and DVD sharing application that allows the device to utilize the optical drive from a PC via wireless connection. A three-cell battery comes standard, although the company has yet to disclose run-time estimates.

The MH330 will initially be offered in Singapore for the equivalent of $500 USD. It remains unclear if the company plans to offer the device in North American markets. [via Far East Gizmos]
