Does the "magical" device live up to the hype?

Apple's iPad has finally arrived in the hands of eager customers, following several months of escalating anticipation. Announced just three years after the original iPhone, the new tablet has been described by Apple as "magical and revolutionary." Is the iPad capable of transforming the concept of mobile computing, or will it become yet another niche product that fails to take hold in the current marketplace? Our in-depth review explores how the device stacks up against Apple's promises and rampant speculation.

Can iPad display MobileMe in Safari browser?

Has anyone tried launching the MobileMe website on the iPad's Safari browser yet?
This was an interesting handicap of the iPhone which made it necessary for Apple to create specialized apps for each feature in MobileMe. You'd think that would no longer be the case on the iPad with its larger browser experience, right?

    Re: MobileMe

You would think that but nope! It redirects you to a new iPad MobileMe page that lets you use Find my iPhone, download the Gallery or iDisk apps or visit the MobileMe setup page, which doesn't yet include any info for the iPad. MobileMe fail!

Apple needs to update the Gallery and iDisk apps for iPad at the very least. That was a big surprise to me. And the iTunes Remote app while they're at it.
