HP tablet could sync iPad
HP today teased its slate by posting another video for the device. The new clip focuses on expansion and points out that the slate has true USB ports and even shows an Apple device syncing with iTunes running on the tablet. Theoretically, an iPad could actually sync with the HP hardware.
The teaser also shows an SD card slot, contrasting against the iPad's necessity for an adapter, and a cradle that could be used to prop up the slate while it outputs video to a TV. No details have been given as to performance, although the use of Windows 7 will likely require an Intel Atom chip.
HP has still said nothing about the ship date or the price, but Spanish executives have already claimed it would arrive in June and may cost more than the iPad, although European pricing may not directly mirror that in the US.

Old news remember the Compaq TC 1000
The only difference I see in these new "Tablet/Slate" devices is that it doesn't need a stylus like it used to when they were running Windows XP Tablet Edition.
This whole tablet craze is OLD news.... The only thing thats new is that Apple decided to make one and now the model without the swivel keyboard is the most popular.

Compaq TC 1000... the thing is actually 100% fully detachable from the keyboard/docking station.
