Android and iPhone Gmail gets inbox Buzz

In a move to drive adoption of Buzz, Google today added Buzz to the Gmail mobile web app. Android and iPhone users can now see the live status updates directly from the inbox rather than having to visit the main Google page. All the desktop-level features, such as comments and in-line images, remain intact.

Accessing the mobile version is automatic as always and requires just visiting the page from an iPhone, iPod touch or Android device. Buzz is already integrated with Gmail for the iPad and on Android is available as a layer in Google Maps. iPhone users aren't likely to get Buzz in maps unless Apple updates the official Maps software.
