Google now shipping Nexus One BT car dock

Google has now began offering its Nexus One car dock on its online store. The $55 device has a built-in speakerphone and connects to the Nexus One using Bluetooth. Much like the Droid's cradle, it launches the Car Home Application s soon as the smartphone is docked and gives users quicker access to navigation, contacts, music and voice search.

All music or phone calls are routed through the dock's speakerphone, and the Nexus One is recharged when docked. A 12V car charger for the dock is included, and the holder can be rotated. It can be mounted on the windshield or dashboard, and an adhesive disc lets users attach it to textured surfaces as well. [via AndroidAndMe]
