myTouch Slide shows in Radio Shack system

A reference to the upcoming myTouch Slide has been spotted on an internal Direct2U Radio Shack system, revealing it could soon arrive at the electronics retailer. The phone is expected to be a replacement for the T-Mobile G1, the original Android phone. The document also confirms T-Mobile will be the carrier for the handset.

The handset has been tipped for a late May release before, though again this was not corroborated in the latest leak. The myTouch Slide sports a QWERTY keyboard, while an LED flash for the camera indicates the device will ship with at least Android 2.0 preloaded to use the new feature. It may still have a 480x320 touchscreen and a 528MHz processor, while storage would come almost exclusively from microSDHC cards. [via Engadget]
