Netflix job post hints at Android media platform
Netflix has put up a job posting for an Android Video Playback Expert, suggesting it wants to bring its video-on-demand service to Android-powered smartphones and other portable devices running on the open-source operating system. The ideal candidate will help Netflix build Instant Streaming client implementations and have experience with DRM technologies.
Netflix has recently announced it will launch an app for the iPad, and plans another for the iPhone.
