T-Mobile sells out of HD2 phones yet again?

The hot-selling T-Mobile HD2 smartphone is once again sold out from the provider, at least when calling Customer Care. It is possible some stores still have a few in stock, however, or ordered online. The device has sold out twice already since its launch two weeks ago.

Whether T-Mobile ordered extra handsets is not known, or if some sort of supply shortage is to blame, but it has had healthy sales since being released last month. As many as 21,000 sales may have been registered on launch day alone. As a device, it's potentially appealing with a large 4.3-inch touchscreen with multi-touch support as well as a 1GHz processor. It also ships with the live-action Transformers movies and gets free Gogo Wi-Fi access, giving early adopters motivation to buy in. [via TMoNews]
