Eee Keyboard computer due end of April

ASUS on Friday said it would finally ship the often-delayed Eee Keyboard to the US within three weeks. The hybrid input and nettop device should be available at the end of April and will have the promised features from later in development, including its signature 5-inch touchscreen for controlling apps and displaying quick info like a calendar.

Inside, the system is based on an Atom processor of an unknown speed (possibly 1.6GHz) as well as a 16GB or 32GB SSD. ASUS imagines it as a home theater computer and supplies native HDMI out as well as Wi-Fi and even Ultra Wideband for wireless peripherals.

Pricing still hasn't been set but will likely run significantly higher than the $400 for a typical netbook.
