Sync files between the KIN mobile phone and Mac

Mark/Space revealed that previously mysterious Mac syncing for the Microsoft KIN phones will be handled by its software. The KIN Media Sync for Mac brings tools for syncing music files and photo albums between the phone and Mac, as well as transferring other forms of media including podcasts and videos. Additionally, the software is designed to work with other Mac-based media applications such as iTunes and iPhoto, and is said to have a similar interface.

While functionality of the new program is similar to Mark/Space’s other releases, the company has yet to announce if it will contain other file sharing features such as syncing text messages and call history, or transferring Microsoft Word and Excel documents.

According to the creator, KIN Media Sync is planned for release in May, around the same time as the KIN One and Two themselves, but has yet to receive a specific availability date or price.
