Bang & Olufsen shows BeoLab 11 subwoofer

Denmark's audio hardware specialist, Bang & Olufsen, on Wednesday launched its latest subwoofer, the BeoLab 11. Its aluminum shell houses two 6.5-inch drivers that face each other, and can reproduce low frequencies down to less than 300Hz. The sub is rated at 200W of sustained power.

Thanks to the minimal amount of vibrations produced by the subwoofer, Bang & Olufsen says it's one of the few products of its kind that can be mounted on a wall. It ships in mid-May and is available in aluminum, white, black, dark gray, red, blue and anodized gold. Depending on the color and mounting options, prices range from nearly $2,000 to about $2,600.
