BenQ GL family of LED LCDs have 12m:1 contrasts
BenQ this week unveiled its GL series of LED-backlit monitors with the 18.5-inch GL930, 19-inch GL931, 20-inch GL2030, 21.5-inch GL2230 and 22-inch GL2231. Each has what BenQ is calling the industry's highest 12,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, along with a 5ms response time. BenQ also spent some time and resources designing the GL monitors to be attractive, with a bubble pattern in the decorative trim below the screen bezel that carries on on the backside on the ventilation grille.
The monitors can be had with different connections, including VGA-only as well as models with DVI and audio input. Those with the audio connections also include two built-in 1W speakers.
The GL2030 models will ship globally in mid-April, while the others are due to arrive in July. No prices have been announced.
