Viliv S10 Blade convertible notebook delayed
The anticipated Viliv S10 Blade convertible notebook has been delayed by the factory, according to online retailer Dynamism, informing a customer who pre-ordered the system. The original ship date for the device was April 22nd, but the new expected release is set at between late April and mid-May. Reasons for the delay are unknown.
The device starts at $699 and will have a 10.1-inch resistive touchscreen with a 1366x768 resolution and multi-touch support. Processor choice include 1.6GHz or 2GHz Intel Atom CPUs. A 60GB hard drive is the standard offering, with 32GB or 64GB solid state drives playing host to Windows XP Home. There is otherwise 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth 2.0 and a built-in webcam. A battery life of 10 hours is expected for the 1.6GHz version, while the system is said to weigh 2.7lbs. [via Engadget]
