ASUS EeePC netbooks due in Germany via Amazon

A leaked Amazon inventory screen reveals there are new ASUS netbooks coming, with the 10.1-inch R101 and R101PX now available for pre-order. The former has a 160GB hard drive preloaded with Windows XP and is said to cost the equivalent of $335. The latter carries a larger 250GB hard drive and Windows 7 Starter Edition, all for about $403. They also share a 1.66GHz Intel Atom CPU and 1GB of RAM.

Whether the two will differ in their exterior design remains unknown, as no photos of the two are available. The new models are expected to ship in Germany sometime in mid-May, just after Computex where the models are officially expected to be unveiled, though the date is not official. [via nDevil]
