FCC hints Dell Mini 5 ready for T-Mo 3G access

Dell's Mini 5 could be destined for T-Mobile if an FCC filing is an indicator. The Android tablet recently passed through the US agency with support for the 1,700MHz band needed for T-Mobile's 3G network. The normally PC-focused firm had already confirmed a version with AT&T support.

The post hints that Dell is planning as broad a release as possible and isn't planning any long-term exclusives. Dell is poised to ship the Mini 5 sometime in the summer and should have larger seven- and 10-inch tablets as soon as the end of this year. [via Engadget]
