Radio Shack may be dumping Palm

Palm now facing major retail trouble
Palm may be facing more trouble still as Radio Shack appears to have pulled both the Pre and Pixi from its stores. Both the online store as well as at least some retail shops no longer have stock of the Sprint handsets and aren't expecting more. The stores have, in many cases, been giving the phones away for free on contract to help clear stock.
Verizon units aren't affected, as its retail deals focus on itself and Best Buy.
Palm, Radio Shack and Sprint haven't yet commented on the apparent pullout, which would hurt Palm's already low smartphone sales even further by cutting off a distribution channel. Radio Shack has usually been a minor point of sale for Palm but has helped its brand awareness. [via AllThingsD]
