Pearl 9100 to cost $450 at Bell, Rogers in Canada

The BlackBerry Pearl 9100, a version of the Pearl 9105, is due to launch soon at Canada's largest carriers according to leaked inventory screenshots. Screens from Bell and Solo as well as Rogers and Fido inventories also reveal pricing for the handset, at $450 CAD (about $451), without any subsidies.

Telus, the third-biggest carrier in Canada, will likely also mimic the price. With a typical three-year contract in Canada, the price of the device is expected to fall in at $50.

The 9105 has the distinction of being the first BlackBerry device to break with tradition by getting a T9 keypad as opposed to a QWERTY layout. [via MobileSyrup]
