Jobs revisiting D conference after three years

Quickly confirming rumors, AllThingsD today said that Apple CEO Steve Jobs will be a guest onstage at the D8 conference in early June. The executive's appearance is his first in three years and is one of his rare media events in recent years that won't have been directly under his control. No signs were given as to whether he would share the stage with anyone else.

The topics of discussion weren't directly mentioned in advance, but obvious topics such as the rivalry with Google, the iPad and future products. Other topics likely to come up could involve the Adobe dispute and questions of App Store policies.

Jobs' attendance in 2007 saw him share the stage with Bill Gates and frequently revolved around the relationship between Apple and Microsoft as well as their respective views of technology.
