Dell Latitude E4310 now up on Dell US website

Without any sort of official announcement, Dell is now offering a new notebook in its Latitude family with the E4310. The 13.3-inch notebook was first seen undergoing FCC testing under the Lafite codename. The business-grade notebook can be had with a slew of operating systems, ranging from Ubuntu Linux 9.10 through Windows Vista Home Basic to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. There are only two processor choices, however, with dual-core 2.4GHz or 2.53GHz Intel Core i5s as the known options.

The options list includes up to 8GB of RAM, either encrypted 250GB or regular 500GB 7,200RPM hard drives, or 128GB and 256GB solid state drives. A backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader and UWB are also on the slate. A Blu-ray drive is optional, while a DVD drive is standard.

Pricing or a ship date for the E4310 has not been revealed, however. [via Engadget]
