HP Mini 210 and 110 get refreshes

HP's Mini netbooks got their own refreshes today with two new colors and a longer-running performance model. The Mini 210 gets the most visible update with both a "white crystal" color option and a pseudo-3D "preppy pink." On the pink model, the design creates a multi-layer effect with shadows; HP also brings a plaid imprint to the trackpad.

The Mini 110 is now being treated as an entry-level model but has been given a longevity upgrade with a 6-cell battery. Making the simple swap gives the Mini 8 hours of battery life without having to change other components.

All of the new netbooks are due June 15th and will see the Mini 110 cost just $280 where the newly upscale Mini 210s cost $355.
