ViewSonic unveils 27" VX2739wm display geared for gaming

Display boasts 1ms response time
ViewSonic has expanded its range of displays with the new VX2739wm, a widescreen monitor geared for gamers. The display is claimed to be the first 27-inch 1080p panel with a fast 1ms response time. The panel also offers 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and SRS sound enhancement for the integrated speakers.
Users can connect source devices via HDMI, DVI or VGA connections, while a four-port USB hub is also provided. The display features an ECO mode which is claimed to reduce energy consumption by up to 35 percent.
