HTC Evo 4G to ship on June 6 for $200

A tipster brought these photos of promotional materials for the upcoming Android 2.1-powered HTC Evo 4G along with some information. Leaked to AndroidCentral, the information gathered from a sales person at a Radio Shack has the device releasing on June 6th and priced at $200 on contract, or $600 contract-free. Contracts will purportedly involve the usual Sprint plan without any changes or unique plans to the 3G/4G handset.

The promotional sheets reveal a four-week event at Sprint, likely to kick off early in June along with the device. The phone will have a hotspot capability, able to share its data connection wirelessly with up to eight other devices, though no new information or any possible associated costs with this feature were revealed in this leak.

Apart from its 4G network compatibility, the Evo 4G will be the most advanced handset on the market, with its 8-megapixel camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for voice calls and conferences, and a 4.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen along with a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU.
