Samsung lets developers loose on Bada with SDK

Samsung has now released a software development kit (SDK) for its Bada mobile OS, which will make its debut in the Samsung Wave handset sometime this month in Europe and should arrive in the US later this summer. Any registered developer can now download the 1.0.0b2 beta version of the SDK and begin creating apps for the new operating system.

The beta SDK includes numerous APIs, a UI builder, an integrated development environment (IDE), simulator, debugger, tutorials, code samples, and help documents. More Bada handsets are expected to arrive later, along with a rumored tablet using the OS. [via UnwiredView]
