Device offers square form factor
Additional images of Motorola's square-shape Android handset have surfaced. The device has been officially named the Flipout, according to HDBlog.it. The same Motorola design was shown in an earlier leak with the monicker Twist, a name taken from Nokia's 7705 handset which features a similar form factor.
The Flipout features a full QWERTY keyboard below the 2.8-inch display. Other rumored specs suggest the device will integrated a 3.1-megapixel camera, 700MHz CPU and GPS functionality. Android 2.1 is allegedly paired with Motorola's own BLUR UI.
Motorola appears to have prepared three different colors for the Flipout, although specific launch details, such as a carrier and pricing, have yet to be released.
