Mushkin rolls out fast Callisto SSDs

Mushkin outs new, fast Callisto SSDs in 3 sizes


Mushkin on Tuesday released a new solid state drive series, the Callisto. Available in 60GB, 120GB and 240GB capacities, the drives are the fastest offered by the company. Read speeds can reach 285MBps while write speeds are as fast as 275MBps.

All run on the well-known Sandforce SF-1200 controller and have a three-year warranty. The 60GB version costs $219 online, the 120GB $370 and the 240GB version $667. All are now available.
