Samsung to ship first AIO PCs to the UK in May

On Tuesday, Samsung announced it will begin offering desktop PCs for the first time in the UK later this month, when it launches its U250 and U200 all-in-one PCs. While technical specs on the pair are scarce, the U250 will sport a 23-inch screen with a full 1080p resolution while the 20-inch screen has a 1600x900 resolution. Either supports multi-touch input and ships with Windows 7 Home Premium preloaded onto its 500GB hard drive.

The screens have a 250cd/m2 brightness rating and a 5ms response time. Both have slot-loading DVD drives and NVIDIA's 512MB GeForce G310M chipset for graphics. A 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor powers the PCs, and each gets 4GB of RAM. Wi-Fi is built in, as are two 6W speakers, a 1.3-megapixel camera and six USB ports.

The two PCs will be exclusive to PC World retail and online locations in the UK when they launch later this month, though no pricing information is yet known. Whether either PC reaches the US is also uncertain.
