Dell makes Latitude E4310, 2110 official

Dell officially intros E4310, 2110 notebooks
Dell has quietly released a new notebook this week, the 13.3-inch Latitude E4310, which was spied early last week. The company also replaced its 10.1-inch Latitude 2000 with the Latitude 2110 netbook. The business-grade E4310 is offered with Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate in both 32- or 64-bit guises, and a Windows XP downgrade option. There are two processor choices, including 2.4GHz or 2.53GHz Core i5s.
Up to 8GB of RAM is optional, along with either encrypted 250GB or regular 500GB 7,200RPM hard drives, or 128GB and 256GB solid state drives. A backlit keyboard, a fingerprint reader and UWB are also available, along with a Blu-ray drive to replace the standard DVD drive.
The 2110 has a rugged rubberized cover that can be had in red, blue or black colors. It gets Intel's new 1.83GHz Atom N470 with integrated graphics processing, and 1GB of RAM. The 16GB solid state drive comes preloaded with either Ubuntu Linux or Windows XP Home Edition. The flagship model gets a 160GB hard drive.
The E4310 can be ordered now, with shipments starting at the end of May. Systems start at $1,129. Prices for the 2110 range from $389 to $498. Shipping starts on June 2nd.
