Project Emerald to be HTC Sidekick Twist

More, admittedly rumored information regarding the Project Emerald handset has been revealed recently from an anonymous source who claims the device will be built by HTC. Allegedly to be called the Sidekick Twist, the source says it will ship with Android 2.1, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, suggesting a candybar shape. TmoNews understands there will also be 16GB of onboard storage and some preloaded lifestyle apps from T-Mobile.

Another, again unconfirmed spec, includes a front-facing camera of unknown resolution. These latest specs are in contrast to an earlier report that had the Project Emerald handset being a version of the HTC Desire, with a similar processor but a 3.7-inch screen and no keyboard.
