Designed to appeal to surf fans

Sony Australia has announced a special edition Billabong VAIO W for its Australian audience. The notebook is the first product to be introduced in a collaboration set out last year. The Billabong WAIO W is patterened with waves of lime green, blue, and black, borrowed from the design of Billabong’s board short line that will be introduced in July. It comes with images and video featuring Billabong's most popular surfers.

The Sony Billabong VAIO W should still have a 1.66GHz Atom and the signature 1366x768 display resolution. It will be available in Australia this June with an official price of AU$749 (US $620). Whether it will reach the US wasn't discussed. [via Sony Insider]
