Acer Liquid stream to get HD due in October

Acer's next Android flagship was detailed in earnest today thanks to an FCC approval and leaks. The Liquid stream S110 would get a more advanced 5-megapixel camera with 720p video capture. It's still expected to run Android 2.1, but it may upgrade to 2.2 or later depending on Acer's release schedule.

Not much else is known about the phone, but it's likely to still have a Snapdragon that might finally be clocked to the full 1GHz and a custom user interface. If a tip is correct, the Liquid stream would ship sometime in October and might arrive on or before the availability of Android 3.0. [via Phandroid]
