faceVision now shipping $119 TouchCam N1

faceVsion has released its TouchCam N1 720p HD video camera. The device is certified to work with Skype and, thanks to built-in hardware H.264 video encoding, it can stream full-screen 720p HD video without any help from the PC to which it's attached. The camera also has a wide 78-degree field of view lens and two integrated microphones.

PCs that use an Intel Core 2 Duo or equivalent AMD CPU and run on Windows 7, Vista or XP with at least 1GB of RAM are compatible. Skype 4.2 or newer is also needed, along with a USB 2.0 port and a minimum 1.2Mbps Internet connection.

The faceVsion TouchCam N1 is now available for $119.
