Green Day Rock Band demo teases new RB3 controller
As a tease for early adopters, Harmonix with the launch of the Rock Band: Green Day demo has hinted there will be a new keyboard controller for Rock Band 3. An image in the demo shows the fifth instrument alongside the usual options. The game developer didn't say more, although it implies that many more piano- or synth-heavy tracks are in store.
Most Rock Band controllers have been available both separately or as part of a bundle with the game itself. The third game in the series is tentatively planned to ship sometime in the fall and should have the controllers on tap at the same time for the PS3, Xbox 360 and possibly the Wii. [via Joystiq]
