Samsung Rugby II confirmed for June 6th at AT&T

AT&T today said the rugged, push-to-talk Samsung Rugby II will soon begin shipping. The device will support AT&T's HSPA 7.2Mbps network while being resistant to dust, shock, vibration, rain and other extremes. Unlike in the original Rugby, there is also assisted GPS functionality using AT&T's Navigator service that includes voice-guided and turn-by-turn directions.

Parents can track the location of their kids, along with AT&T's Mobile Resource Management applications for use by businesses and government agencies. The Rugby II also sports a 2-megapixel camera with video recording, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot.

The Samsung Rugby II ships at AT&T on June 6th priced at $130 on a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
