Device features 4.8" screen, 600MHz CPU

RAmos has finally launched the W7, a new Android-based MID. The device features a polished metal housing similar in appearance to an iPod touch, but with a 4.8-inch WVGA touchscreen. Android 1.5 is powered by a Rockchip RK2808 CPU capable of decoding HD video, including MKV files.

The W7 also offers Wi-Fi connectivity, 128MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Previous reports indicated the device will integrate 3G components and support Flash Lite, although it is unclear if either feature is included in the final design.

Customers can pick up the W7 in China for 1000 yuan (~$145 USD). The company has yet to announce plans to officially launch the MID in other countries.
