Sony brings Billabong VAIO W to US shores

Sony Billabong VAIO W announced for US release
The Billabong-customized Sony VAIO W that was announced for Australia in May has now been brought out for a North American release. The Imperial Lime Edition netbook has a Billabong-designed top cover. Otherwise, specs are the same as the standard netbook, including its 1366x768 resolution, 10.1-inch display and preloaded Windows 7 Starter on the 250GB hard drive.
The processor is a 1.83GHz Atom, and Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth are standard fare. The battery life is said to last for seven hours. The VAIO W Series Imperial Lime Edition can now be pre-ordered with prices starting at $500.
